Rewards Terms

General assumption

The Sports Center “Customer Rewards” Program is a loyalty initiative allowing consumers to earn points for a $ value spent in any of The Sports Center and/or HeatWave Surf & Swim Locations. The “Customer Rewards” Program is a “cash back” incentive to the Company’s loyal customers, at which the Consumer is able to earn points for future purchases.

Definitions

  • Company: The Sports Center Ltd. is referred to by “Company.”
  • Program: The Sports Center “Customer Rewards” Program is referred to as “the program”
  • Program members: Consumers entitled to enroll to the program 18+ years old
  • The key/swipecard: used to link “Customer Rewards” Program members to points earned is referred to as the “Card,” which is obtained upon enrollment.
  • Point balance: The purchase receipt with actual number of points earned by the “Customer Rewards” Program member

Points Mechanics

One point is earned for every dollar spent on in-store purchases at any of our retail stores. Points are not earned on VAT, net items and sales items. Points are earned on layaway purchases only at the completion of the layaway purchase. A minimum purchase of $1 is required to earn points on your purchase.

Points Collection System

Points are collected on individual accounts on the system managed by the Company. They are registered after each single purchase and will be applied at the start of next business day. The Card must be scanned at the point of purchase to earn points. The points will not be redeemed to the Consumer’s account if the Consumer fails to present the Card and a government-issued photo I.D. at the time of purchase.  We are unable to retrospectively allocate points for purchases once the transaction has been completed. 

Enrollment

All consumers are invited to enroll in the The Sports Center “Customer Rewards” program with a minimum purchase of $1.00 or more. All members must be over the age of 18+.

After enrolling to the program consumer will receive a key/swipe card. The Card, along with a government-issued photo I.D. must be presented at the time of purchase to earn or redeem the points.

The Card is issued free at the time of enrollment to approved applicants of the Program however they remain the rightful property of the Company.

Acceptance of the Card by the Consumer indicates an intention to be legally bound by the rules and regulations of the Program.

To complete enrollment, the customer must give their name, date of birth and email address. By divulging this information, the Company is given consent to subscribe the Consumer to a mailing list to share exclusive offers, special promotions, etc. The Company, as the controller of the Consumer’s account information, shall protect and not disclose the Consumer’s information to another private entity for any other purpose unless legally obligated.

Upon enrollment, the Consumer is encouraged to visit the Company’s website for the Program’s specifications, including, but not limited to, point eligibility, redemption rules and regulations. The Company reserves the right to refuse enrollment to any applicant, if deemed necessary.

Redemption Rules

The Card is not a valid form of identification and cannot be used for this purpose.

Points earned on a purchase can only be redeemed on future purchases. One hundred points are valued at five dollars off your future purchase.

Points are redeemable at any Sports Center or HeatWave Surf and Swim retail store and toward any in-store purchase. Only the points from a member’s card, identified with a government-issued photo I.D. can be used during redemption per purchase. Loyalty points cannot be redeemed for cash.

Rewards points may not be used for deposits or layaway payments.

Joint accounts must have both parties names on the account to be eligible.

Expiring Points

Points are transferable month-to-month up to a period of 1 year from which the points were earned.

Refunds

Points will be revoked on refunds for purchases on which they were earned.

Card Lost or Stolen

In the event of a lost or stolen Card, it is the responsibility of the Consumer to report the Card missing to the Company immediately at 394.7660 during business hours. Your loyalty points will only be protected from the point in time you notify the Company that the card is missing. The Company will freeze the remaining balance on your loyalty card at the time that you notify us and will load that remaining balance on a replacement Card.

Replacement Rewards Cards will incur a fee of $5 plus VAT. 

Change to Rules and Regulations

The Company reserves the right to amend the above terms and conditions on the Company’s website, SportsCenter242.com without notice. The revised Rules and Regulations will be reflected on the Company’s website and in doing so, these new set of terms and conditions will be deemed accepted by the Consumer.
